We Sunuwar residing in the UK learnt the importance of our Sunuwar family to maintain the relationship, protect cultural prospect, look after each other and pass on this tradition for new generation. Having began to settle after the retirement from the army and other Sunuwar families from the civilian background, we formed our KSWS UK in 2007. सुनुवार सेवा समाज बेलायत को भर्खरै मात्र सम्पन्न भएको सातौ महादिबेशनले मलाई एक निष्ठावान समाजसेवकको रुपमा हाम्रो संस्था किराँत सुनुवार सेवा समाज बेलायतको सातौ कार्यकालको अध्यक्ष पदभार सम्हालि काम गर्ने अवसर दिनु भएकोमा आफुमाथि थप जिम्मेवारी आएको महसुस गरेको छु र महत्वपूर्ण अवसरको लागि सम्बन्धित सबैमा हार्दिक आभार र कृतज्ञता प्रकट गर्न चाहन्छु । नंया कार्य समितिको चयनको निमित्त सहयोग गर्नुहुने चयन समिति सल्हाकार महानुभावहरु, निबर्तमान कार्य समितिको पदाधिकारी तथा सदस्य हरु र यस महाधिबेशनमा प्रत्यक्ष रअप्रत्यक्ष रुपमा सहयोग पुराउनु हुने सम्पूर्ण महानुभाव हरुलाई मेरो हृदय देखि नै धन्यवाद दिन चाहन्छु।
किराँत सुनुवार समाज बेलायत भनेको हामी सम्पूर्ण बेलायतबसी सुनुवारसमुदायको सामाजिक, सांस्कृतिक र ऐतिहासिक पहिचान लाई सम्रक्षण र प्रबर्दन गर्नको निमित स्थापित बिशुद्ध सामाजिक संस्था हो। यसको स्थापना काल देखि नै बेलायेत बासी सुनुवारको हितको निम्ति बिभिन्न सामाजिक तथा संस्कृतिक कार्यहरू सम्पन्न गर्दै आईरहेको छ। सुनुवार समाज बेलायतको भावी दिनहरुलाई सही मार्गमा डोर्याउने जिम्मेवारीको साथ साथै मेरो नेत्तृत्वमा रहेको कार्य समितिले युके बासी सम्पूर्ण सुनुवारहरुको हितको निमित्त धेरै चुनौती हरुको सामना गर्नु पर्ने समय आएको छ। यो कार्यसमितिको सम्पूर्ण पदाधिकारी तथा सदस्यहरु साथै बेलायत भरिको सम्पूर्ण सुनुवारलाई गोल्बद्द तथा एकजुट भएर हाम्रो उदेश्य प्राप्तिको निमित्त अगाडी बढाउने मेरो दृद्द विश्वास तपाई हरुलाई दिलाउन चाहन्छु।
The Kirat Sunuwar Welfare Society UK is a non-profit organization that strives to (a) promote awareness of the Sunuwar history, languages and culture to the general UK public, (b) foster constructive participation of the Sunuwar members in the mainstream UK society and support the well-being of its members, and (c) mobilize resources to support development and humanitarian works amongst the Sunuwar in Nepal.
